CHOOSE ACCORDINGLY

I am I.T. McQueen, an author, narrator, producer, and self-publishing educator raised in Atlanta, Georgia, by my paternal grandparents. I began writing in elementary school, missing my grandmother and remembering the best days that had faded away. Writing felt like letting go of what was and accepting what had come. It felt freeing. Everything became something that needed to be written. Once it was written, it didn’t hurt the same. In my late twenties, my husband encouraged me to write music and perform as Tashova. I wrote an album, Endless Love, but never released it. After his death, I found a love letter he had written exactly a year before he passed. His words empowered me to finish Mommy: What a Mother Won’t Do, published in 2024 under Iris Tashova. I became I.T. McQueen in 2025 after completing the ghostwriting project Five Rings No Crown. The experience was healing for both of us. When God transforms you, He changes your name. I narrated that book, then narrated and produced Without Permission by Betsy “Tricho B,” about her rise in entrepreneurship, in my own studio. My work includes the Love in the ER trilogy: The Admission, The Treatment, and The Release. Through narration, music, vocals, and sound effects, I create cinematic audiobooks: Sound You Can Feel. My Voice Vault Library offers a place to heal, grow, and experience our stories. I self-published to maintain ownership of my intellectual property. Now I help authors understand publishing, own their work, and choose trustworthy assistance. Choose Accordingly means making decisions according to your goals and purpose.
