TEAMWORK

One of my favorite memories is when Tim and I would sit and talk business.

Not just dreams.

Not just bills.

Not just what we wanted.

Business.

The business of the house.

The business of our future.

The business of what needed to be done.

I enjoyed those conversations so much that after he passed, I started having family business meetings with my mother and my children.

It became a thing.

We would gather around the kitchen table and talk about what was going on in the house.

Behavior.

School schedules.

Bills.

Needs.

Plans.

Expectations.

Anything we all needed to know.

The children are grown now, but we still have those business meetings.

We still come together.

We still talk through what matters.

We still make sure the bills get paid.

We still keep each other aware of what is happening.

Why?

Because teamwork makes the dream work.

And love is not just what you feel.

Love is how you show up.

How you listen.

How you plan.

How you carry your part.

How you stay accountable to the people building beside you.

A family without communication becomes confusion.

A dream without teamwork becomes pressure.

A house without structure becomes survival.

But when everybody knows the plan, everybody can help protect the peace.

That is teamwork.

That is love in motion.

Choose Accordingly.
