IT McQueen
A writer, storyteller, and voice for truths that don’t need spectacle.

My work lives in sound, language, and intention. I believe voice carries power long after images fade, and that presence doesn’t require performance.
Here, we listen first.
THE VOICE
For a long time, I was afraid of my own voice.
Not because it was weak — but because I didn’t yet know how powerful it was. I learned that the very thing I was avoiding was the only thing that could set me free.
So I met myself.
I listened. I paid attention. I stopped shrinking. What didn’t fit anymore, I released. What was missing, I allowed myself to grow into. And somewhere along the way, the timid version of me gave way to a voice that speaks without apology.
This isn’t about becoming louder.
It’s about becoming honest.
If any part of you has ever held back, softened your truth, or waited for permission — this story isn’t just mine. It’s yours, too.
Don’t mind me while I continue to increase.

There’s room for you to do the same.
